About: Sara Rahe Lives and works in Boston, MA sarahairstonrahe.com instagram: sarahairstonrahe About: Sara Rahe’s work explores repetition and pattern through geometric, swirling forms inspired by the body, fashion, and craft traditions. She primarily works in fiber, creating knit sculptures, weavings and stitched pieces that are colorful, intricate, and tactile. The repetitive process is both meditative and healing, transforming personal experience through craft. Rahe studied painting at the Massachusetts College of Art and earned an MFA in Visual Art from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
